Scientific interests

Research of small water bodies: hydrochemistry and abiotic conditions versus type of landscape. The influence of microhabitats on trophic state and physical-chemical characteristics of components of aquatic environment. Spatial changeability of water / bottom sediments parameters. Criteria for classifying the trophic status.

Hydrochemistry of inland waters: mineral and organic forms of phosphorus, phaeopigments, dissolved organic matter,

Assessment of freshwater ecosystems: human impact – land use – water quality.

Light climate in rivers and lakes.
